Stuttgart. The specialist for cell voltage monitoring systems SMART TESTSOLUTIONS has reached a new milestone: Its systems for cell voltage monitoring are being installed in commercial vehicles as standard and are rolling on the road. At the same time, development continues. At the Hanover Fair in April, SMART TESTSOLUTIONS will present the latest generation of its series CVM.
The CVM systems from SMART TESTSOLUTIONS include not only the modules for cell voltage monitoring, but also the mounting parts for the mechanical integration of the CVM near the cell stack and the necessary connection harnesses. Another important component are the cell contacts that are needed to tap the voltages at the individual bipolar plates. These so-called cell voltage pick-ups must be designed differently depending on the nature of the cell stack. SMART TESTSOLUTIONS now has several variants up its sleeve, which will be on display at the Stuttgart-based company's stand in Hanover (Hall 13, Stand E24).
Another highlight of the presentation at the Hydrogen + Fuel Cells sub-fair of the Hanover Fair is the presentation of the new series CVM generation G6S. "This is a cost-effective cell voltage measurement system for large series of any kind," reports Dr Markus Schuster, Business Line Manager e_Cell Electronics. In addition to the automotive industry, the target markets are stationary applications such as electrolysers as well as shipping and aviation. In the field of maritime applications, SMART TESTOLUTIONS recently won the Norwegian company TECO 2030 as a customer, which is developing fuel cell drives for large ships.
