The shortage of skilled workers is a challenge faced by many German companies – including us at SMART Testsolutions. At the same time, the immigration of well-educated individuals presents opportunities that companies often fail to fully leverage. Since 2015, we have focused on hiring employees with migrant backgrounds. The positive experiences we’ve gained speak for themselves.

Our team is international and diverse, and many of our employees with migrant backgrounds have shown remarkable development in a short time. We employ people from various countries who bring both practical skills and technical expertise. Successfully integrating these skilled workers requires openness, dedication, and a commitment to fostering individual career paths. What’s important to us? Everyone is given the chance to take on responsibility and to grow both professionally and personally. This corporate culture has proven successful for us.

What drives us is the belief that everyone deserves an opportunity – and this is reflected in our multicultural team. However, the path is not always easy. Bureaucratic hurdles and political regulations often create challenges for both companies and skilled workers. We tackle these obstacles every day because we know how invaluable these employees are. By integrating individuals from different backgrounds, who bring fresh perspectives and valuable expertise, we can effectively combat the shortage of skilled workers – and this is something we encourage other companies to do as well. At the same time, we hope that politicians will improve the framework conditions for everyone involved.
