SMARTIES hike together again

This year, a few SMARTIES with a passion for hiking got together again to enjoy the great outdoors at our annual hiking weekend. This time we went to Riezlern near Oberstdorf, where our 15 hikers stayed in a cosy holiday home.

From Friday to Sunday, we explored the Kleinwalsertal with all its natural beauty. A particular highlight was the breathtaking view from the summit cross of the 2058 metre-high Kanzelwand in the Allgäu Alps. We were lucky enough to experience perfect hiking weather almost every day - not too hot and yet sunny.

Our colleagues also had a great time at the hut, which was even equipped with a sauna. What was particularly nice was the sense of community that arose when we ate together. In the morning, Ralf and his hard-working helpers provided an energising breakfast so that all SMARTIES could start the day full of energy. After long days on beautiful trails, our colleagues treated the hikers to home-cooked Sri Lankan specialities and spaghetti carbonara in the evening.

Our hiking weekend was therefore a complete success, during which our employees were able to enjoy nature and a pleasant break from their everyday working lives. The time spent together brought our team closer together and we are already looking forward to the next adventure next year!
