The CVM Breakout Box allows direct access to the individual cell voltages of an electrochemical cell stack. Furthermore, it can be used for a simple cell voltage simulation. For this purpose, a total voltage is applied to an integrated resistor cascade. The CVM system measures the voltage dropped across each resistor.

The Breakout Box is used when the individual cell voltages are to be accessed directly. Another field of application is simple cell voltage simulation.
